Aquarium Club

The McGuire H20 Aquarium Club maintains 55 gallon, 30 gallon and 20 gallon tanks in the McGuire Youth Center. Members feed the fish, clean the tanks and learn about fish habitat and physiology. We are currently starting to plant live plants and will be starting a salt water reef aquarium. The Open Recreation program will be creating a Salt Water aquarium in Spring 2006. We also conduct a “Set-Up Your Home Aquarium” project several times a year. This project meets once a week for a month and covers picking the correct size tank for your home, selecting fish and planning for easy maintenance.
